About this policy

This policy covers the Shot Four Productions website at shot4prod.web.app, a visual portfolio showcasing Chris and an evolving collection of AI-generated photographic studies. “We” and “us” refer to the people operating this portfolio.

For a privacy question or request, contact Chris through @shot4_produx on Instagram. Please mention “website privacy” and the page or information your request concerns. Do not send passwords or sensitive identification documents.

What information is used

• Delivering the website. Our hosting, content, font, and media providers receive technical request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser, and device information to deliver files, operate their services, and protect against abuse.
• Your contact draft. The Let’s Talk form keeps your name, selected topic, and message in the current page. It does not submit them to a website server or save them to an account. “Copy message” writes the draft to your device clipboard only when you choose that action. Refreshing or leaving the page can clear the draft.
• A message you send. If you paste a note into Instagram and send it, Chris receives the content and profile information you share through Instagram. We use correspondence to respond, discuss an idea, or manage an ongoing conversation.
• Optional visit measurement. If you enable Analytics, Google Analytics can process page visits, interactions, browser and device information, approximate location, and cookie identifiers to help us understand and improve the site. We do not send your contact draft to Analytics. Advertising features are disabled in this website’s configuration.
• Administrator access. The private content editor uses Firebase Authentication to verify authorized administrators. Authentication information and sign-in state support that access; browsing the public portfolio does not require an account.

We use information to provide and secure the portfolio, respond to you, and, only with your choice, measure its use. Where applicable, essential operations and correspondence rely on legitimate interests or steps you request; optional Analytics relies on consent. We do not sell your personal information or run advertising on this website.

Cookies and your choices

Optional Analytics is off by default. No Google Analytics tag is initialized unless you explicitly enable it in Privacy choices. Declining does not affect the portfolio, motion, 3D features, or contact composer.

We store your Analytics choice in local browser storage for up to 180 days. If enabled, Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies, configured to expire after 180 days without extending their lifetime on every visit. Administrator sign-in can use browser storage for authentication. The router uses session storage to restore scroll positions.

You can turn Analytics off at any time below or from the footer. This disables further collection in this browser and removes accessible Analytics cookies set for this site. Withdrawal does not remove information already processed by Google. You may also clear site data or control cookies in your browser; clearing the choice returns Analytics to off.

Services and external links

Google Firebase provides hosting, portfolio content and image storage, and administrator authentication. Google Fonts delivers our typefaces. Google Analytics is used only if you enable it. See Firebase’s privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Instagram links take you to a separate service; we do not embed an Instagram feed or send your contact draft there automatically. Instagram’s own terms and privacy policy apply once you use it. If you choose to play a project video hosted by YouTube, Vimeo, or another provider, that provider receives the request and its own storage and privacy practices apply.

Technical error information may be captured by a hosting or development environment’s error reporter when that reporter is present. We do not intentionally include contact drafts in error reports.

Retention and security

Contact drafts are not retained by our website server. Correspondence sent through Instagram may be kept while needed to respond, manage a collaboration, or meet legal obligations, and is also subject to Instagram’s retention practices. Provider logs and Analytics records are retained according to the relevant service and account settings. Our browser preference and Analytics cookie limits are described above.

We use HTTPS and restrict publishing access to authorized administrators. No internet service is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate; their published privacy and data protection terms explain applicable safeguards.

Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live and the rules that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a copy of personal information. You can withdraw Analytics consent at any time, and may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Send a request through @shot4_produx. We may need enough information to verify that the request relates to you. We cannot directly change records held by an independent service such as Instagram; that service’s privacy tools may also be needed.

This portfolio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Updates to this policy

We will update this page when the website or our information practices change, and change the date at the top. A new purpose requiring consent will not rely on a previous choice for a different purpose.
